3.5 N/A vs 2.7 Ecoboost. Well I'm thinking about getting a new 2015 2 wheel drive extended cab in either the Eco or 3.5. Man I really want the 2.7 but something tells me not to and get the less $$$ 795 3.5 V6. Won't be working this truck either just a daily driver. Anything to be cautious about on the new 2.7.
The truck isn't released and neither are the specifications so anything right now is just guessing at best. The 2.3 in the explorer is different and tuned lower for FWD. The ranger will use the RWD mustang platform for the engine. The mustang has 310hp and 350 tq. I expect to see these numbers slightly lower for the ranger but that's just a guess.
